Darnel Alexander is an R&B recording artist and vocalist originally from Seattle, Washington, now based in Minneapolis. Known for his rich baritone, soulful songwriting, and emotionally resonant performances, Darnel has built a career spanning more than three decades, connecting with audiences across the United States and internationally.

His musical journey began with the Seattle group 3rd Level, where he developed his vocal talents through performances at local talent shows and nightclubs. During this period, he contributed to Sir Mix-a-Lot’s compilation album Seattle… The Dark Side.

Darnel later joined the R&B quartet 2nd Nature alongside David Booker, Leland Allen, and Jason Turner. The group’s single ‘Can U Show Me’ reached No. 89 on Billboard’s Hot R&B chart in 1995, appeared in a music video featured on BET’s Midnight Love, and performed at the legendary Apollo Theater.

Throughout his career, Darnel has recorded radio jingles for the nationally syndicated Delilah show, R-Dub’s Sunday Night Slow Jams, and urban radio stations across the country. He has also shared the stage with celebrated artists including Queen Latifah, James Brown, Mint Condition, Boyz II Men, and Patti LaBelle.
